It's been 9 years?
Checked back on dA after so long because I saw a tweet saying AI art is running rampant on this site. While I think it's going to be more prevalent everywhere in our lives, this trip to dA also sent me down memory lane.
The people that I met here don't really post here anymore (me included, since I'm primarily on Instagram, and has been for the past couple years), but it's still nice to look back at my gallery and my favourites, to remember the times where I just shared my art just as social media was starting to take off. It was the time where I started getting confident with my art (although they were mostly fanart), and when I started interacting with people online via these creative communities like deviantArt and Wattpad. I don't really use them anymore (I just might in the future, who knows), and I think they're different from what they used to be when I used it, but I'll always look back at them with fond memories
9 years is definitely a long time, went from a middle schooler to starting work now after university, but my art never really improved a lot, I guess. But ultimately I'm still drawing, and still having fun with it. I'm definitely slowing down a lot in recent years, but hopefully I can continue with this hobby for the next decade to come.
Enough rambling for now, though who knows when is the next time I will come back on here.
Edit: Looked back at my previous posts, 3 spanning 5 years apart and they are all literally the same thing I wrote here, LOL. Same old me that just drops by once in a while, gets nostalgic, post something here, and just move on until I come back next time. Some things just never change.

Trying to be more active on dA
I'll upload more drawings (Instagram's really easy to use so that's where I'm posting my drawings after they're done), but yeah, I'll try not to neglect this place too.
Those that matters
There was a time when I wanted to get more watchers on dA, get more followers on instagram, wanted more subscribers on youtube...but now I don't want that anymore. After my latest drawing, I just get that innocent feeling of wanting too share it with the world, and whatever happens after that doesn't really matter, just like how I started out. I may have improved, I may have gotten more followers on dA, but the comments that I get are still few and far between. That's why I appreciate it when these people take the time to comment on my works.
And it was just recently when a fellow dA friend of mine commented on some of my drawings did I try to do this to other people. So I took some time to try and go through my notification stacks and drop some comments along the way. Some of them are really great artists with lots of comments, but I still drop one because they read and reply, and I hope I can just let them know somebody out there watching them on dA cares enough to comment.
From now on I guess I'll just do whatever I love to do, polish up on my skills, and just, draw.
